Dinh Co Festival is one of the largest spiritual festivals in Southern Vietnam, honoring Lady Le Thi Hong - a young woman believed by fishermen to bring divine blessings, protect from illness, and ensure safety at sea. The ceremonial part features solemn traditional rituals, incense offerings, and prayers for peace, while the festive section is full of energy with basket boat races, lion dances, eel-catching contests, and traditional ba trao singing - creating a truly folkloric atmosphere.

 

Nghinh Ong Thang Tam Festival - Honoring the Whale God
